Off to the Track

I am wearing Top
Skirt HM
Boots Etienne Aigner
Bag Forever21
HAt vintage

You still have time to enter $50.00 Giveaway on my blog!!!

You would say I am crazy to wear a leather skirt to the race track? Well, I did. And it sure did bring a lot of attention (not particularly needed) to its humble owner, who was just genuinely trying to enjoy the race. The cropped top was not by any means less of a show stopper, allowing for just enough skin to show, when paired with a high waisted skirt. And at a very low price I consider it my must have for the summer.
Anyhow, it was a fun and busy day spend with my friends, we had a little BBQ gathering, and a lot of fun. I also got a package from Oasap, can’t wait to show you guys!
Meanwhile, have a great Sunday!
See ya!

Hi, there, friends!
With February inevitably coming to an end, we can almost feel the spring in the air with fresh mornings and trees in bloom, new beginnings at this new awakening of life.
And what a better way to celebrate the spring than with a new dress (or a skirt)?
A  polka dot mini for a stroll on the the boardwalk, a white and blue number for a boat trip, a stunning midi for a visit to a local flea market, or a vintage charmer for a picnic on a sunny day, any of these would be an instant mood booster!
And here is your opportunity to get it for free: Adollwithoutstyle has cooperated with Shabby Apple to give away a $50.00 Gift Card to one lucky winner to spend  on ShabbyApple.com.

Hello there, friends and my cruelly forgotten blog. Long time no talk.
I hope you can help me to figure out how to keep up with  blogging when life  gets out of control, because I badly fail to find a way. These past couple of months have been more than hectic, the days swirl like a tornado, mixing everything together and leaving tons and tons of aftermath that I can never sort out.
Among the latest happenings are somebody's attempt to steal my car right in front of my eyes, me calling 911 to only get humiliated and laughed at by the incompetent operator, and my friend's neighbor dying in his apartment and his body remaining unnoticed for a week, till it decomposed and reeked throughout the hallway and the adjacent apartments (hers among them, of course). We did have some fun nonetheless, dining together and going out for St. Valentine's Day (since none of us had the date this time), sunbathing by the pool, and spending a good part of our paycheck at Walgreen's (necessities, you know).

So you can imagine my excitement, when I got the package from AX Paris with this skirt and a top the pictures of which will follow shortly. "I am doing outfit posts again!" - I kept repeating to myself! I was so inspired and excited flying to the venue of my shoot which happened to be this very serene dock on the river, and my heart just melted at the mild rays of the setting sun.
I felt bad my friend had to take the pictures as she was still under the shock of her neighbors death, but it was a set deal, so she got very creative and it went really well. On my way back home, though, things were not quite as smooth. Crossing the road, still elevated by one of my favorite pastime activities, I stumbled on something and oh, goodness, fell so bad in front of numerous cars, and hurt myself pretty bad. I kept laughing though, just imagining what it looked to all the people who saw me fall down on my knees as if in a prayer. I laughed alright, right till I saw my shoes, and somehow my knees did not hurt as much anymore, and I had tears in my eyes. There go my new Jeffrey Campbell's!  Brand friggin new, just out of the box.

Oh well, if that's the worst thing that could happen to me, I will consider myself a lucky girl.
I guess, I can just add this experience to the box of my misfortunes.

And to all I wish a happy Saturday,
And be safe on the roads, driving or walking.

Love, M.
